I just picked up the Duirwaigh greeting card featuring this painting from a local new age bookstore. He grabbed me from across the room, I wasn't looking for an angel, but I'm glad he followed me home. I can't thank you enough for painting an angel whose wings actually look like they're big enough to support his weight. I keep staring at these two, wondering what their story is. Because there's definitely a story there.

Thank you for the nice words :)
The story behind it could be the story of Gabriel visiting Mary, but take it very loosely, as I am open to all religions;
and spirituality, to me, can take any form.
I just like the idea of a supernatural, yet protecting, understanding and comforting visit from the world beyond.
And I know this is a thought shared and hidden inside every single one of us, whether we will admit it or not.
