Oil on canvas, 12 x 16.
This is my latest painting. It was done for an Art show/auction hosted by Michelle Obama for the Centennial of the Cherry Blossom Festival on the 2nd of April in Washington DC.
It was sold immediately.
All the profits go to the Tsunami Japanese relief Fund. The Fukushima area still needs great help.
The Japanese word in the painting means "Hope".

Nope that was a joke. I like this picture, it seems to tell more than it shows.

BTW thanks for having put a little sketch in my notebook (I was in Epinal two weeks ago for the imaginales exhibition).
