I wanted to add that this lake actually exists. It is in western Ireland. I was there with a friend in 1995, I still vividly remember. Perfect silence. The place was totally remote, peaceful, untouched. It was full summer and the lush vegetation gave the air a wonderful and incredibly pure smell. I will never forget.
